  Brian Shultz, Vice President of Technology

Meet Brian Shultz.

Brian Shultz, Vice President of Information Technology, could very well be the smartest IT guy we know. Less than five years ago, Shultz joined Cruise Planners as the Senior Director of Information Technology with absolutely no travel background. He spent an enormous amount of time learning about the industry by working with each member of the Home Office team and reaching out to the franchise owners. He soon led the charge and began revamping the entire Cruise Planners technology system and redesigning all the web components, among other things.

Shultz had one simple goal:

To create tools and programs that franchise owners can use to not only help manage their business but also to expand their businesses by utilizing the power of online technology to reach and service more customers.

Today, Cruise Planners franchise owners have the best reservation management and CRM tool available in the industry. Accessible on almost any device with a browser, it allows them to conduct business anywhere. In addition, the website platform has been completely built with the consumer in mind and is now one of the best sales and marketing tools in the industry. He has also spearheaded the development of our consumer-facing Cruise Planners Mobile app for smartphones and developed our entire Web Program which contains agency-specific information throughout every consumer touch point. And this is just the beginning.

Shultz is the technology visionary behind Cruise Planners and has laid the foundation on what needs to be built. He is up-to-date on the latest platforms and everything is possible in Shultz's world. There is nothing he cannot do. He inspires his team to create tools that make it easy and efficient for franchise owners to run their businesses thus, growing their businesses.

Prior to joining Cruise Planners, Shultz was the Director of Operations for MVI Solutions, a software development company based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He is a seasoned IT professional with extensive project management and development experience. In 2012, he was named Top Professional Rising Star by Agent @ Home magazine and he's not even 40!

Shultz and his wife Melissa have two children, Ben and Kyra. When he's not at work creating the next best thing, you can find him playing hoops, at a game, or watching his favorite team, The Miami Heat, win another NBA championship. He is a guy's guy that is brilliant beyond his years and we're so lucky to have him on our team.
