About The Cruise
If you’re looking to vacation on one of the most fun ships at sea, feel free… it’s Carnival Liberty! And Carnival Liberty just so happens to be packed with some of the latest, greatest features you’ll find anywhere.
For instance, guess which is the first ship to serve up gourmet Guy Fieri burgers daily. How about one with perhaps the world’s greatest sports bar, which combines live sports on TV, lively competition through the latest EA SPORTS titles… not to mention great drinks. It’s the same ship with tacos and burritos on Lido deck, made fresh while you wait, plus two great bars — one rum-slinging, one tequila-wielding — dueling for your heart?
This, however, is just the beginning of what to expect from the ship you’d call one great vacation spot. We’d agree — we just happen to call it Carnival Liberty.

About Miami
South Florida's exciting, international city is much more than the gateway to Latin America. It's one of the world's most popular vacation destinations. With it's world-renowned beaches, unrivaled nightlife, unique culinary experiences and Latin flavor, this is one place you'll want to check out. Before departing from Miami, enjoy a tour that will highlight this exciting city.
Miami Attractions
Miami Beach is one of Miami's most popular attractions. There, you'll see supermodels and celebrities side by side with octogenarians in pastel plaid. This diversity is one of the main attractions of this area. But the wide, sandy beaches and clean, warm water don't hurt.
Miami Activities
- Drive through Miami, discovering its rich history, then head out to the Everglades, the only subtropical preserve in North America. As you approach the park, a guide will tell you about the many birds and foliage found in the River of Grass. Then explore the Glades on a 40-minute airboat ride, and see an Indian village, alligator wrestling and even a wildlife show.
- Take a colorful tour to the world-famous Art-Deco District of South Beach. Then head to Brickell Avenue, the financial heart of Miami. Your tour takes you to the bohemian village of Coconut Grove and its lush vegetation. Finally, a drive through Coral Gables will take you past the Biltmore Hotel, the Venetian Pool and Miracle Mile.
- Marvel at the homes of the rich and famous while cruising the calm waters of Biscayne Bay on the Island Queen.

About Half Moon Cay
If ever you’ve dreamed of making the first footprints on the beach of a truly secluded tropical island, here’s your chance. Simply step ashore on Half Moon Cay, Holland Americas own private island, and make your mark. Then swim and snorkel till the beat of a steel-drum band summons you to the beach party and buffet. Calypso, anyone?
Half Moon Cay Activities
- Explore the undersea world without getting wet on board our own glass-bottom boat.
- Join an island guide for an informative and moderately paced 1 1/2 mile walk on a sandy path through this tropical paradise, viewing tropical palms, sea grape trees, curly-tailed lizards and bananaquit birds.
- Enhance your visit to Holland America's private island by arranging one or more "toy" rentals. You can pre-arrange rentals through the Shore Excursion Office on board, or visit the Watersports Hut on the island.
